	Mrs. E. E. Wright borrowed ten dollars and half
Thomas Mitchell and his wife from Jackson Co Florida came over to
see Aunt Nance   Aunt is in very good humor

Wednesday, September 11th, 1861.

	H. B. Waugh bought 20 head of stock cattle at $6 per head
2 beef steers at $12  Amount $144  The payments Mr. William
Chester Dr in Waugh stead for $125, the rest on Mrs. Buttie
for 19 dollars   I went to hack and dined at Chesters
Delivering 11 had of cows and calves 2 steers   no rain
Got Whitlelys receipt for Hamp   Job Martin is to mary Miss 
L. Bird to knight

Thursday, September 12th, 1861.

	No rain but hot and sultry   Mr. B. B. and Mrs. A. Wrights
youngest son died last knight and was buried today at about 
4 oclock   Mrs. Freeman and family dined here  and Mr. 
T. J. Mitchell and family also dined here   Mrs. M. Thomas and
her sister Miss A Rivire left Fowlstown on a visit to their
fathers in Jackson Co Fla   Jake Stanton went with them
The Dr also accompanied them to Chattahoochee

Friday, September 13th, 1861.

	Mr. B. B. Wrights, Jr. youngest son died his name
was Edda   Dry and hot

Saturday, September 14th, 1861.

	A battallion muster was held in Decature Co at Bainbridge
I went to Bainbridge   Benjamin Adkisson and family was here
till Sunday morning   A very slite shower of rain fell late
the evening    very hot    Commenced to gather corn in the bar cut

Sunday, September 15th, 1861.

	I stayed home all day   Dr. White preached   Col Munnerlyn
was at the church for the 1nd time since he come home but few
persons ware at church

Monday, September 16th, 1861.

	Taken breakfast with Uncle J Ingram  spayed some hogs for
him and mother   Bro H. H. was there  J. F. Stanton went to 
Dr. Thomas  Wm B. Freeman and fami y went to Mr. Pattersons
on a visit  Left Sousanah Martin here with Aunt N M
No rain but dry and hot

Tuesday, September 17th, 1861.

	No rain hot and dry  Aunt very pleasant

Wednesday, September 18th, 1861.

	No rain hot and dry  Aunt very pleasant

Thursday, Spetember 19th, 1861.

	Old John Golden eate dinner here  Aunt is in fine humor
no rain  hot and dry  Bery come home from his fathers

Friday, September 20th, 1861.

	Aunt commenced with the devilment at Breakfast, and tried
to make every boddy mad on the place  She was horstile
No rain today but hot and dry  Killed a beef  Mr. William
Wright  Mrs. A. Wright  Mr. C. Wright and Miss C. Barrineau
Miss S Munnerlyn and myself & Tom Sanders all went bullisses
hunting   Jake was home to breakfast  He got dinky again

Saturday, September 21st, 1861.

	Aunt got a little reconciled & somewhat sorry for scolding
me  Mad a good days pickin of cotton for the first day
very pleasant weather cloudy   some rain at 10 oclock in the
night  I had the fevor all the afternoon  Capt W. D. Griffin
mustered at Faceville

Sunday, September, 22nd, 1861.

	Aunt Nancy is very ill again scolding Jo and every thing els
Myself and Dr. W. T. and Jake Stanton dined with Mr. Archabald
McLaghlyn

Monday, September 23rd, 1861.

	I had the fevor again nearly all day   No rain  cool and
pleasant  Aunt is very cross yet   Smar has the fevor today
Wm B. Freeman went to mill & on his return home he got a 
sow & and pigs from Aunt N   J. F. Stanton pulled his corn
All is quiet now at about 9 oclock in the knight

Tuesday, September 24th, 1861.

	No rain not so hot Mr. B. B. and William Wright give a
fish party at Munnerlyns plantation   Mrs. A. and Mrs. Wright
& Mrs. M. J. Davis of the married ladies & Miss C. Barrineau
Miss Pop Munnerlyn  Mr. T. D. Sanders MR. L. J. Sanders
Mr. J. F. Stanton was all at the fish cook  I did not have no 
fevor

Wednesday, September 25th, 1861.

	No rain moderate weather J. F. Stanton took his corn to
Bainbridge and sold it  it fetched 12$  W. B. Freeman drove the
wagon for him   Philip got very sick with the cholic  J. F. Stanton
moved from Aunt Nancys to knight at 9 oclock  Dr. W. T. Thomas
moved him   L. J. Sanders and R. R. Ingram were here he took 
his departure   Received a letter from J. W. Thomas today.
