Evans sent by him to Bro B $9 Hamp sent 5 dollars Borrowed from mother 4 dollars Friday, May 17th, 1861. Bery Freeman went to Bainbridge his hors run away with the buggy in the yard when he come home Aunt Nancy and Dinah squalled out at a dredful rate B. Atkisson come here and stayed all night C. Golden came to see Aunt Aunt is in quite a pleasant mood I saw Mattie McLaw and Miss M McLauchlyin Miss T Thomas and Misses M. J. and E. Shaw Mr. H. D. Thomas W. B. Freeman is up tonight got a letter from Bilie at Pensacola Monday June 10th, 1861. Mr. W. D. Griffin and his wife give a fish cook at Ira Sanborns Mill a plenty of fish was caught and a considerable collection of young men and Ladies were in attendance numbering about 30 all seemed to be in fine spirits and lively Thursday, June 13th, 1861. Was proclaimed as fast day by Jef Davis the President of the Southern Confederacy it was kept by a good many I fasted all day from one supper to the next Saturday, June 15th, 1861. A very pleasant mist of rain fell L. Sanders worked for M. C. Ingram 17 days at 50cts per day amount $8.50 The above was done with Mrs. Keen hands Sunday, June 16th, 1861. Aunt is in a very fine humor today We ware favored with a small shower of rain Saturday, June 22, 1861. John Freeman sen and his son William came down from Wilkson county I went to Bainbridge to bring John Wright dined at Dr. Thomas Sunday, June 23rd, 1861. John Wright and his wife stayed all right Mrs. M. C. ingram and her daughter was here for dinner my mother and sister Monday, June 24th, 1861. I went to Bainbridge with Wright fell in company with Mr. J and J. B. _riffin on the way no more happened of consequence. Tuesday, June 25th, 1861. Miss A. H. Thomas went to Mr. Dixons in Fla to remain 4 or 5 days Wednesday, June 26th, 1861. Mr. Freeman and his son left for home J. F. Stanton went as far as Bainbridge with them. Received a letter from Bro John Got corn from J Ingram
